BRANDON, MB – The Brandon Bobcats and Saskatchewan Huskies battled back and forth in a five-set thriller, including a fifth set that went to extra points before Ben Glue put it away for the Bobcats.

Three players from each team finished in double-digit kills. For the Bobcats, Paul Robidoux had a match-high 22 kills and just one error. In his first match in Brandon, Sam Tuivai finished with 16 kills while fellow New Zealander Glue had 14 kills.

Paul Thomson had a team-high 19 kills for the Huskies, while Matthew Busse added 18 kills and Braden McLean finished with 14 kills.

The two teams will meet again Saturday night at 7:45 pm in the BU Gymnasium.
