BRANDON, MB – The Brandon Bobcats extended their winning streak to three matches by making quick work of the Saskatchewan Huskies 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-15). The match took a little over an hour to play, and featured only one lead change early in the first set.

The Bobcats were led by fifth-year left-side Jaryn Ruether who contributed nine kills on 17 swings. Sophomore middle Meaghan Robertson had seven kills on 11 swings and added five stuff blocks.

The Huskies struggled offensively, putting up 26 kills and 24 errors. Candace Hueser and Erin McGladdery each finished with six kills.

The two teams will meet again tomorrow night for the second half of the weekend series. First serve is scheduled for 6:00 pm at the BU Gymnasium.
