BRANDON, MB – The Lethbridge Pronghorns used effective shooting and tight defense to come away with a 95-49 win over the Brandon Bobcats Friday night in Brandon.
The Pronghorns out-scored the Bobcats in all four quarters, and were led by Katlyn Olsen’s game-high 22 points. Natalie Nichols put up 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds, while Ali Cameron finished with 15 points and three steals. Lauren Taal had an impressive night, finishing with nine points, nine assists, nine steals and six rebounds.
Jaynell Gillett picked up a double-double for the Bobcats, finishing with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The two teams will meet again Saturday night in the Brandon, in what will be the final women’s basketball game played in the BU Gymnasium.
