BRANDON, MB – The Brandon Bobcats made it four wins in a row in league play thanks to a 3-1 (24-26, 25-15, 25-12, 25-17) win over the visiting UBCO Heat Friday night.
Ben Glue led the charge for the Bobcats, finishing with 15 kills on 26 swings (.385 attack efficiency). Sam Tuivai added 14 kills and Jon Sloane finished with 12 kills.
Nate Speijer finished with a team-high 15 kills and picked up nine digs.
The win improves the Bobcats record to 6-7 while the Heat drop to 3-8 on the season. The two teams will meet again Saturday night in a rematch in the BU Gymnasium.
