Bobcat Men's Volleyball: 3
Thompson Rivers University: 1

KAMLOOPS, BC – The Brandon Bobcats men’s volleyball team continued their impressive win streak, making it seven in a row following a 3-1 (25-15, 25-15, 23-25, 25-21) win over the Thompson Rivers Wolfpack Saturday night. The Bobcats’ conference play win-streak, which started November 19, puts them three matches up on 7th place Winnipeg, who currently holds the final Canada West playoff spot.

Ben Glue continued his impressive first CIS season, finishing the contest with 12 kills and 11 digs. Ben Glue has played in all 16 of the Bobcats’ matches so far this year, and has notched at least 12 kills in all but one. Fifth-years Paul Robidoux and Jon Sloane both recorded 10 kills. Sloane registered a .471 hitting percentage.

Casey Knight had a match-high 15 kills for the Wolfpack, who now fall to 3-13 on the season. Despite the ‘Pack’s record, they still have a chance to qualify for the Canada West playoffs. Thompson Rivers will host Saskatchewan next weekend before ending the regular season at UBC-Okanagan on Febraury 10 & 11.

The Bobcats have a bye next weekend, but will still face tough tests in UBC and Alberta to end the season.
