BRANDON, MB – In the first game of the second half of the Canada West conference season the Regina Cougars came roaring into Brandon and came away with a 96-38 win.
Four Cougars finished in double-digit scoring, but it was a Bobcat who had the game-high. Rookie sensation Aimee Johnston finished with 22 points to go along with eight rebounds. Lindsay Ledingham and Danni Schmidt both had 14 points for the Cougars, while Alyssia Kajati and Carly Graham each added 12 points.
With the win the Cougars remain perfect at 8-0, while the Bobcats remain winless at 0-9.
The two teams will meet again Saturday in the BU Gymnasium. Tip-off is slated for 6:00 pm.
