
BRANDON, MB -A solid first half from the Bobcats wasn’t enough, as the Regina Cougars took the weekend series sweep against the Bobcats thanks to a 92-46 win Saturday night.
Michelle Clark had a game-high 23 points for the Cougars. Alyssia Kajati finished with 14 points, nine rebounds, while Lindsay Ledingham had 13 points, eight rebounds.
Jaynell Gillet was the leading scorer for the Bobcats with 10 points, while Aimee Johnston had a game-high 11 rebounds to go along with four steals.
The Regina Cougars improved on their perfect season, moving to 9-0 while the Bobcats remain winless. Up next for the Bobcats is a rare Thursday game as they host the Winnipeg Wesmen at 6:00 pm. The Cougars will travel to Winnipeg to take on the Manitoba Bisons next Friday.
