KAMLOOPS, BC — A clutch three-pointer from Kyle Vince in the last minute wasn’t enough as the Bobcats dropped a Canada West conference game to the Thompson Rivers Wolfpack 91-84 Friday night.

TRU improves to 3-4, while Brandon falls to 2-5 on the season.

Chas Kok (5th year) showed why he is the Canada West’s top scorer. He had 22 points and 14 rebounds in 39 minutes of work.  Akeem Pierre (3rd year) had 15 points and 14 rebounds. Justin King (3rd year), had a game-high 36 points and added seven boards.

Brandon had four players in double figures led by Emerick Ravier (4th year), with 19 points. Kyle Vince (5th year) contributed 17 points, while both Ali Mounir-Benabdelhak (1st year) and Jordan Reaves (3rd year)  had 16 apiece.

The WolfPack will play the Regina Cougars on Saturday in their final pre-Christmas league game. Tip off is 7:00 p.m.  The Bobcats will travel into Kelowna to take on the UBC Okanagan Heat.
