WINNIPEG, MB – The Bobcats men’s volleyball team dropped it’s Canada West season opener to the University of Manitoba Bisons 3-1 (25-19, 22-25, 25-18, 25-16).
Ben Glue led the way for the Bobcats in his first CIS match finishing the contest with 14 kills. Dan Boutwell finished with 11 kills and Jon Sloane contributed nine kills.
The two teams will play again Saturday night in the second half of the weekend series. Game time is set for 8:00 pm at the Investors Group Athletic Centre at the University of Manitoba.
